Aquaview Engineering Kenya Ltd successfully completed supply and installation of a solar-powered water pumping system for the Mbora Water Project located in Nyakach Sub-county, Kisumu County.
The project involved equipping a borehole with a discharge capacity of 7 m³/hour and a total dynamic head of 80 meters, using a hybrid solar pumping system.
Key components supplied and installed include:
- Dayliff DS8-25 4kW pump end and DSM 4kW 3-phase submersible motor
- 18 units of 200W monocrystalline solar panels
- Dayliff SVB2 3.7kW Sunverter (solar inverter) and disconnect switch
- Submersible and underground cables, riser pipes, and a mounting structure
- Water meter and float switch for flow monitoring and level control
- Full installation, testing, and commissioning of the system including mobilization and technical support
The project also includes a quarterly inspection package for one year to ensure optimal performance and sustainability.
