We successfully completed the supply and installation of a hybrid solar-electric powered water pumping system for Kiriti Catholic Church in Marmanet Ward, Nyahururu, Laikipia County.

The project addressed the need for a sustainable and reliable water source for the church and its surrounding community, leveraging renewable energy and modern pumping technology.

  • Borehole Depth: 190 meters
  • Static Water Level (SWL): 33.98 meters
  • Pumping Water Level (PWL): 129.80 meters
  • Pump Installation Depth (PID): 168 meters
  • Discharge Capacity: 8 m³/hour

Key System Components Installed:

  • PEDROLLO 4SR6/32-S Pump End with a 4PD/5.5 4kW Submersible Motor (hybrid system – solar/electric)
  • 2” standard 3-meter 21-bar riser pipes
  • Solar panel support structure for optimal energy harnessing
  • 6-meter elevated steel tower supporting a 10,000-litre plastic water storage tank, located near the borehole
