Aquaview Engineering Kenya Ltd successfully implemented the borehole equipping, solarization, and hybridization of a water supply system for Emenwa Primary School in Kisii County.
The project involved the supply, installation, and commissioning of a solar-powered water pumping system designed to deliver 1.4 m³/hour at a head of 100 meters, ensuring a reliable and sustainable water supply for the school and its surrounding community.
Key system components included:
- Dayliff DSP1-20 0.75kW pump with motor and control box
- Dayliff SV3 1.5kW single-phase Sunverter (solar inverter)
- 8 x 200W Dayliff monocrystalline solar panels
- Borehole cover with adaptor, water meter, disconnect switch, and cabling
- Ground-mounted solar structure
- Lightning arrestors
- Installation accessories and full system testing
The scope also included:
- Labour, installation, and mobilization
Annual servicing for one year (four scheduled maintenance visits)
